GiGi's Playhouse of the QC had its grand opening on October 1, 2011. This was also the day of our local Down syndrome awareness walk. The day was such a blast! I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to have such a place at our disposal. GiGi's offers so much for our local area as well as for our children.
Vada met a lot of new friends. We have gone back since the grand opening for play dates and it keeps getting better! I love that Vada has a place of her own at GiGi's, besides family and church. GiGi's offers somewhere that she wont be judged for her differences but will be embraced because of them. Knowing this makes my heart all warm inside.
And hopefully, if were lucky, Vada will be able to grow up with these kiddo's and build some lasting friendships.

PS - Bailey has the same shoes as Vada...love them and wish they came in brown too! :)
