Our city does this Hot Air Balloon Festival every year. This year, it was just V and I but we went and had a great time. She is such good company!
I packed a picnic dinner and we dined in the field as the many balloons began to inflate and float away. There's not a whole lot to say about this event. Its free to go to which is nice. It was fun and relaxing and the balloons themselves are huge but beautiful and there is something almost fairy tale-like about the way they floated away into the sunset. I was happy to have at least one of the loves of life with me to enjoy it.
