A Big Cut

It's been almost a month since I walked into my saloon with the solid decision to cut my long locks off. I had been contemplating it for months already and I had finally made up my mind. I was tired of the mess, of the long lengths (no pun intended) of time that I invested in doing my hair or of the time that I didn't invest only to look like a mess! I wanted something simple, easy and cute. I wanted something short, really short but I was a little nervous to go to short so I settled with a simple "bob-like do".

It was a morning appointment but I was offered a glass of wine, which I thought was hilarious! I declined. I didn't need anything to ease this decision away for me, although wine is always good, I was excited for this to be happening.

We didn't officially get a ruler out and measure the length of my hair but my stylist estimated around twelve to thirteen inches (maybe more) that I was able to donate to Locks of Love! Amanda, my stylist said it was the most hair that she has ever had donated at one time. Which made me kind of proud.

Ahhh... I L.O.V.E. my new hair! Love it! And I am already thinking of going shorter next time! I don't think that I will ever grow my hair out again! Ever!

This is my plan for my next cut. I don't dye my hair but I really, really like the two colors of her hair and I may change my mind and try something new and go with a few highlights for summer... we shall see.
